This film was made specifically as a music video for the track LA Street Cleaner by Paul Smith & Peter Brewis. There are actually only a few edits outside of the camera in the whole film and the colour printing in seperations was done by Chris Bate on our Arri contact printer.

SLIT SCREEN SPLIT SCENE

Elswick's riverside (In Newcastle upon Tyne) was once the site of the mighty Armstrong Works which produced armaments for the British Empire and employed 25,000 workers at it's peak. It's now the site of Newcastle Business Park and the location for this film about film and friendship.

TRINITY SQUARE CAR PARK

Architect Rodney Gordon designed Gateshead's Trinity Square shopping centre and car park in 1962 for the Owen Luder firm. It was a bold Brutalist building that made a striking impact on the Gateshead skyline. In 2007 plans were confirmed to regenerate Gateshead town centre resulting in the demolition of Trinity Square. This film documents the final stages of the demolition process over the Summer of 2010, captured on Super 8 film.
